A: Once your account has been activated you can access the service by dialing 1290 from your MTNL phone.

Q: What phones are compatible with MobileVoice?

A: MobileVoice works with any phone.

Q: How do I access MobileVoice with a direct number while roaming?

A: MobileVoice may also be accessed using the direct number 011-23353701

Q: Do I need a specific handsfree headset to access MobileVoice?

A: No. MobileVoice works with all Bluetooth headsets.

Q: Do I have to download software to my handheld device to use MobileVoice?

A: No. MobileVoice does not need special software.

Q: What email can I access with MobileVoice?

A: Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, AOL Mail, Gmail, Bol Mail, POP3 and IMAP.

Q: Can I access my Rediffmail Email account using MobileVoice?

A: Rediffmail requires MobileVoice, Outlook and Blackberry users to pay for Post Office Protocol (POP) access to their email accounts. Log in to your Rediffmail.com email account and pay for POP access through Rediffmail. Once completed you may use Rediff with MobileVoice.

Q: What are POP3 and IMAP?

A: POP3 and IMAP are methods of delivering your email to programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Eudora.

Q: Will voice commands work in a noisy environment, like in a restaurant?

A: When there is a lot of noise you may want to turn off voice commands by pressing the star '*' key. This will allow you to read and send email using only the touch tone keys on your phone.

Q: Is my information secure?

A: Yes. All data in MobileVoice is fully encrypted and secure. In addition, MobileVoice does not permanently store your messages -- rather we act as an interface to retrieve them on demand when you ask for them. Our service is located in fully secured data centers.

Q: Can MobileVoice read email attachments?

A: MobileVoice will tell you when you have an attachment, and for most, which type of document it is.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from the service?
A: Landline customers, go to your nearest SANCHAR HAAT and submit the request for de-activation of your MobileVoice Remote Email Access account. Mobile customers, text UNSUB to 51290
